How to take on the 99k for Canines Cycle Challenge

Your challenge is to cycle 99km (or 61.6 miles) during the Autumn.  The distance can be reached in many difference ways over the season – in a single day, over a number of days, or even as part of a team of friends or colleagues.

The Greyhounds

Take on the ultimate challenge and cycle 99k in a day!

Maybe you were planning to do RideLondon this year and want to take on the same distance virtually? If so, we’d love to have you join us this Autumn to show us how it’s done! You can choose to do this solo or as a team.

The Husky Relay

How fast can you and your friends, family or colleagues complete the 99k distance?

Get a team together and push your speed in a relay ride to get the fastest time.

The Rovers

Strong and steady wins the race! Take as many days as you need to complete your 99k.

This could be riding just over 3k a day throughout the season, or a few longer rides at the weekend. Complete your 99k in the time that suits you best! Again, you can choose to do this solo or as a team.

Do your 99km your way! These options are only suggestions, if you have another idea of how you want to complete your challenge, it’s completely up to you. Please contact the team at fundraisewithus@dogstrust.org.uk and tell us your idea.

Why your efforts are so important to our four-legged friends

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. We are reliant on voluntary donations to continue our work and without this it would be simply impossible to care for over 14,000 dogs every year.

It’s dogs like Rudi that your donations help. Rudi was born at Dogs Trust Glasgow in 2015 and was rehomed twice before sadly being returned to Dogs Trust for a third time last year. Rudi was a sensitive boy, however after 5 months of seeing our behavioural specialists his confidence grew. He recently captured the hearts of some new owners and has gone to a loving home.
